Position: CNC Machinist – Set Up & Operator

Hours: M-F, 7A-3:30P

POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment to manufacture precision metal components. This position requires the ability to interpret blueprints, perform machine setups, monitor machining operations, and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality work in a safe manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
- Adjust machine controls, tooling, speeds, and feeds to meet required tolerances.
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure product quality.
- Replace worn tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
