POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking an experienced Manual Press Brake Operator to set up and operate a 500-ton Cincinnati manual press brake to fabricate precision metal components. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, experience working with heavy fabrication equipment, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality parts while maintaining safety and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate a 500-ton manual press brake.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure accurate bends and tolerances.
- Operate metal forming equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production quality and identify defects or equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of press brake or related metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience operating manual press brake equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
- Proficient with precision measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license required.
