Hours: M-F, 7A-3:30P

POSITION SUMMARY
Seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to fabricate, fit, and assemble structural metal components according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong layout and welding skills, experience working with structural steel, and the ability to produce high-quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Lay out, fit, align, and assemble structural steel components.
- Perform tack welding and final welding to meet quality specifications.
- Verify dimensions and inspect completed work using measuring tools.
- Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
- Identify and correct fit-up or fabrication issues before final assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of welding and fitting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience fitting and welding structural steel components.
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools, layout equipment, and welding equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license required.
