Seamstress Associate
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our Mending Department. This position plays an important role in maintaining the quality and appearance of textile products by inspecting, repairing, and processing items to meet company standards. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as a contributing member of a highly productive team
- Feed and operate industrial sewing and textile-processing equipment
- Inspect textiles for damage and determine appropriate repairs
- Perform mending and sewing tasks according to established quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow safety procedures and production guidelines
- Meet established productivity and quality expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic literacy and reading skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to learn and safely operate sewing and textile-processing equipment
- Previous sewing, mending, alterations, or textile experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable and able to work effectively in a team environment
