Machine Operator

Job Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring assigned production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role helps maintain production standards, inspects finished products, completes required documentation, and supports overall production goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate various production and converting equipment.
• Set up and monitor machinery to ensure proper operation and quality output.
• Inspect products for defects and perform required quality checks.
• Package finished products according to established procedures.
• Complete production records and required paperwork.
• Use computerized inventory and production systems to issue and receive materials and process work orders.
• Print and apply product, container, or shipment labels as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional production-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete production documentation.
• Experience operating industrial machinery preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
