Accounts Receivable Analyst
Job Summary
Provides accounts receivable support through monitoring all aspects of the collection of outstanding debts owed to an organization. Investigates missing and unresolved payment issues, monitors overdue accounts, and prepares account statements and reports for management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned customer account portfolio on a daily basis and maintain relationships with customer accounts payable departments.
- Review accounts and reports regularly to meet objectives related to collections, current receivables, deductions, and aging invoices.
- Identify and apply unapplied cash within the same fiscal month whenever possible.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers through phone and email communication.
- Investigate, address, and resolve account deductions within established timeframes.
- Monitor accounts for potential bad debt and reserve concerns and escalate critical issues to management as needed.
- Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- One to two years of accounts receivable experience, or relevant internship experience.
Work Location
Greater Cleveland area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing customer accounts and collections activities.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoice reconciliation, and cash application.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced business environment while meeting deadlines.
