Finance Manager
Paulding, Ohio | Full-Time or Part-Time Considered
A rapidly growing plumbing and HVAC installation and Service company in Paulding, Ohio is seeking an experienced Finance Manager – Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting and office financial functions. The ideal candidate will be of the highest integrity, comfortable working in QuickBooks, and have a solid understanding of basic accounting processes, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and job costing. Experience with ServiceTitan is a strong plus but not required.
Responsibilities
This position will assist with:
Accounts payable – vendor invoices, statements, and payment preparation
Accounts receivable – customer invoicing, payment posting, and collection follow-up
General ledger entries – account coding, and basic reconciliations
Payroll processing – reviewing job tax codes, process, and batch. payroll support
Job costing – Tracking costs by project or service job, review job profitability and cost accuracy
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Month-end support and financial reporting preparation
Maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks
Working with ownership and management to keep accounting information current and organized
Qualifications
Accounting experience is required
Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks is required
Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred
Construction, plumbing, HVAC, or service contractor experience strongly preferred
Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity
Job costing experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy a must
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Good communication and organizational skills

This person will be comfortable working in a small-business environment where responsibilities vary day to day. Compensation
Full-time pay range(depending on experience): $50,000-$75,000 per year. Full-time or part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
