Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Responsibilities include:
- Implementing a resident care plan
- Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
- Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary
- consulting with and validating data
- record pertinent information in the patient record
- identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments
- communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care
- assuming responsibility for professional growth and development
- other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
- Working leader- oversees and implements a resident plan of care
- Working leader- performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessment and evaluations
